With roots in Khartoum, Sudan, we know the sun very well. The brand name SAWAAKIN comes from Suakin, the old Sudanese port. As we are sunglasses freaks ourselves, we also have a few chunky acetate frames lying around somewhere, but how about the luxury of a classic and delicate full titanium frame, with gradient lenses that stand out in classic style this season?

Our titanium glasses are super-light and very high quality. There is no plastic on the nose pads or temples. In addition, the price is significantly lower than other brands. Anyone who has dealt with the topic knows that titanium sunglasses at this level easily cost around 1000 euros. We can offer these at a much lower price because the processing of flexible titanium (and in particular its painting) is apparently no longer a Japanese “monopoly”.

The first series of our super-light full titanium model has just arrived. A panto frame in size 48-21-145 and a total width of 145. The Kordofan model is available in three different frame colors: black, silver and bronze. Each frame color is available with gradient lenses in addition to the evenly tinted lenses. While we personally prefer black or silver frames, we have to say that the bronze frames with brown lenses are particularly delicate.
